Climate Action

The Climate Action Committee re-organized in March of 2023 after a hiatus during the COVID pandemic. Our goals are to engage our community to promote civic engagement and goodwill. We do this by offering events providing climate education, current governmental legislative initiatives, and climate advocacy.

Although many events are offered through out the year, the two major events include an Earth Day Celebration in April and celebration of the International Day of Climate Action in October. Our next event is on Saturday October 21, 2023 at the Harrietstown Town Hall, Saranac Lake from 11am -4pm. See our events page for further details.
